Sean Lennon Another Cowboy Trilogy part two Sean Lennon at the SPA |

I think there are not that many fans who have seen Sean Lennon spinning and of course, it was my first time to see him spinning, too. There is no picture I took though. I know, I wish I could have taken him dejaying, so that I could show people, anyway, here my part two of another cowboy trilogy goes... As Yuka posted at the Cibo Matto message board, it was not hard to find the place at all. There were so many people partying and it was so crowded. Yuka said that Sean would start at 11:45, so I and my friend wandering around to see if there was Sean anywhere. It was not a kind of place I like( no offence, SPA), and there was a private party going on, which I didn't know that, and people who were there were seemed to be much older than I, so I felt a little bit awkward to be there. I couldn't find Sean at all even after 12:00am but soon I saw Yuka and the guitar player of Timo's band, Japa Keenon and Jordan Galland of Dopo Yume. I asked Yuka where Sean was and she said he was upstairs. Yes, Sean had already started dejaying( I thought he would introduce himself before he started!) but all I could see was from the top of his head to his glasses. He was spinning from his ROCK collection like Nirvana and stuff like that.( a lot of quite familiar songs, but couldn't match the song with the title, but I'm sure there was Led Zeppline since that's what Yuka said on the board) Yuka danced so cute with Japa. Anyway, I wanted to say hi to Sean, but couldn't figure out how to do that. I and my friend decided to wait for him at the door of the dejaying room since we thought he might come out sometime. We waited waited and waited, but no Sean, and a lot of people comig in and out. I asked one of the staff who was about to enter the door if I could see Sean for a second and say hi to him. She said no, and said she would say hi for me. I kept asking her to let me say hello to him myself, and she said she would ask Sean to come down. She came out again pretty soon and said he would come out so we started waiting for him again. Since Sean didn't come out, I thought I would better give up saying hi to him. I didn't want to interrupt him if he was very busy, but the same girl came again and asked us it he hadn't come out yet. We said no and she disappeard, saying she would ask him again. In a few seconds, the door was opened and she let us come up. There he was, busy changing CDs and adjusting knots of the machines and things. I waved at him and he waved back at me. Wow, I and my friend were so excited to see him dejaying so close, in the room which was a "restricted area":-) Sean and I talked for a few minutes. Since the music was very loud, we had to shout at each other( it was sort of funny) like "HI! HOW ARE YOU?" "YUKA SAID THAT YOU WOULD BE DEJAYING TONIGHT, SO I CAME TO SEE YOU!" "THANK YOU! I LIKE DEJAYING, IT"S FUN!" "I CHECKED OUT YOUR PAGE!" and he gave me tumbs!( thank you...!) I introduced my friend who was in very awe of seeing Sean Lennon for the first time in her life to Sean and Sean shook her hand. We were watching him for a few more minutes and thought we'd better go back not to bother him anymore. so I asked him if he would be playing at the Cooler on the next day to be sure, and he said yes. I told him that I would be there, and Sean said" THEN I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW!" We stayed in the club for a little bit more and had to come home since we had a morning class on the next day( I and she were almost dying the next morning). Thank you Sean for being so kind and letting us see you spinning so close. Don't forget to come back for the part three of another cowboy trilogy!
